This is a Contract to Hire position for a Quality Inspector in Austin, TX (78753). These opportunities are available on 1st and 2nd shift, hours are 6a-230p and 3p-1130 respectively. Pay is based on experience.
What you'll do as: Quality Inspector:
Inspecting and testing products or processesDocumenting and analyzing dataUsing specialized tools for inspectionParticipating in ISO auditsCommunicating with the Production departmentReview Specifications, standards, and/or test plans of customer designs, and report feedback to the management.Give feedback to the Production department regarding any errors or non-conformances in the assembly process verbally or through written documentation.
Work Experience
The preferred candidate should have the following:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferredMust have experience reading/interpreting blueprints and drawingsMath ability including fractions and decimalsExpert knowledge of accurate measuringPrevious experience in a manufacturing or quality environment which included the following materials: Wood, Plywood, and HardwareMS Suite knowledge2+ years in a quality roleMust pass pre-employment criminal background checkMust pass pre-employment drug testMust be authorized to work in the United States
