Our company encourages diversity and inclusion in all its forms while our products make the world a more beautiful, safer, and sustainable home (http://bit.ly/purpose-sgna) . **_What’s the job?_** + Conduct raw material, process and finished product testing and audits in roofing, mat, granules, asphalt and other raw materials, reporting thoroughly, concisely, and timely. + Conduct finished product audits, reporting thoroughly, concisely, and timely. + Perform warehouse audits and teach scheduled operators on how to perform tests on finished products. + Ability to answer questions revolving around pallet labels, wrap labels, filler percent, copper content etc. + Maintaining a neat, adequately stocked, safe, organized laboratory facility, keeping laboratory equipment in clean, working condition, reporting issues promptly for repair. + Providing laboratory technical support to operations as directed. + Maintain the Factory+ database, accurately entering test results in a timely manner. + Adhere to testing frequencies mandated by CertainTeed in regard to raw materials and finished products. **_What do you bring?_** + Associates degree in a technical field is required or equivalent technical work experience. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. + Two (2) or more years of quality control related experience in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards. + Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. + Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
