QA Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with strong automation skills and expertise in the Karate testing framework. The ideal candidate will lead our QA team, design test strategies, and implement automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the QA team in planning, executing, and managing automated and manual testing activities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test automation strategies using the Karate testing framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality goals and deliver high-quality software.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts for API, UI, and performance testing.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and best practices.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Mentor and train junior QA team members on automation tools and techniques.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in QA processes.
• Manage test environments, data, and tools to support efficient testing.
• Generate and present reports on test progress, coverage, and quality metrics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a QA leadership role.
• Strong expertise in the Karate testing framework for API automation.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, and JMeter.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and test integration.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing best practices.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
