Job Title: QA Manager
Job Description

The QA Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes and ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. This role involves managing the QA team, developing and implementing quality control procedures, and working closely with other departments to maintain and improve product quality.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes and facilities.Manage and lead the QA team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.Collaborate with production, R&D, and other departments to ensure product quality and safety.Monitor and analyze quality data, generating reports and recommendations for improvement.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in food safety and quality assurance.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP).Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with SQF and GMO certifications.Work Environment

The work environment includes working closely with production and R&D departments in a food manufacturing facility. The position requires regular audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves both office and facility environments, demanding attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
