Team Leadership & Safety:
Lead a team of QA/QC field inspectors, prioritizing safety and efficiency on the job site. Ensure that all work is performed according to company policies, procedures, and customer requirements. Monitor and enforce safety standards, keeping the work environment clean, organized, and secure. Conduct safety briefings and inspections, addressing any potential hazards and implementing corrective actions when necessary.Quality Control & Inspections:
Review and understand customer and company designs, specifications, and standards to ensure quality and compliance. Inspect and verify all work completed by the crew, ensuring adherence to the scope of work and project requirements. Identify recurring issues in the field and report them to management, offering solutions or recommendations for improvement. Inspect equipment to ensure it meets company standards and is in good working condition.Reporting & Documentation:
Complete daily reports, track production, and submit all required forms and backup documentation. Monitor and document crew performance, submitting accurate data and maps to management as required. Ensure compliance with reporting procedures and company standards, keeping all documentation up to date and organized.Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with the Construction Manager, HSE team, Fleet team, DOT team, and operations management to ensure seamless coordination across all teams. Communicate regularly with management to report on job progress, quality issues, and any field concerns. Educate and mentor QA/QC technicians, promoting continuous improvement and refining inspection processes. Interact with customers' field personnel, addressing concerns and maintaining positive relationships on site.Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional certifications in quality control or construction management preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications or construction with a focus on quality assurance and quality control. At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Skills: Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, safety protocols, and industry standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, designs, and specifications. Proficient in using field inspection tools and software. Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed. Willingness to travel and work overtime as required.Why Join BCOMM Constructors?
