Headquartered in beautiful Carlsbad, CA, with secondary support operations on the East Coast in North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida, we are a full-service Design-Build company. We manage projects across the United States, with field operations team members working directly on location for each of our projects. Specializing in fast-track commercial construction for both public and private clients, we maintain a primary focus in the Department of Defense market. As we continue to expand and grow, we are looking for a skilled and experienced QA/QC Welding Inspector to join our Operations Team in Norfolk, VA. Key Responsibilities: + Review all project material requirements, ensuring conformance with project specifications, drawings, and client best practices. + Examine Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs), Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs), Material Test Reports (MTRs), and related documentation. + Submit detailed inspection reports confirming conformance to project requirements and expectations for production in the field. + Perform visual inspections of quality, including straightness (plumb and level), and ensure proper accessibility to valves, control devices, and other apparatus as per design specifications. + Witness and document pressure tests, passivation activities, and other related quality checks. + Witness and document non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures as required, providing comprehensive reports with results, system details, location, contractor information, and other relevant data. + Attend project coordination meetings, QA/QC meetings, and other necessary client meetings to support project needs and maintain communication on quality control aspects.
