Major Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities :

General

1. To comply with the company’s FSQ policy & objectives.

2. To comply with the company’s Halal policy.

3. To comply with the company’s Occupational Safety & Health policy.

4. To comply with the company’s Environmental Policy.

FSQA

1. To perform all Redzone-related tasks.

2. To perform daily thermometer verifications.

3. To perform daily loose item control.

4. To perform a sensory evaluation for all products according to test frequency.

5. To score and record data into sensory evaluation forms.

6. To perform frozen dimension checking against the specification.

7. To perform FFA checking.

8. To perform destructive tests for NGs from the processing line.

9. To manage and retain sample storage.

10. To manage QA test kitchen operations, including start-up, sanitation, and inventory control of consumables.

11. To perform daily pre-op SWABs and testing.

12. To inspect and perform quality checks of incoming raw materials against specifications.

13. To perform all in-process verifications.

14. To perform quality checks for finished goods against specifications.

15. To perform routine sampling for microbial, sensory, and retain samples.

16. To perform physical on-hold and physical release procedures.

17. To provide accurate information for SAP block/release.

18. To perform weekly pest control activities.

19. To perform equipment calibration and verification activity.

20. To perform room temperature recording activity.

21. To report any non-conformance related to food safety and quality to superiors.

Qualifications/Experience :

1. Basic proficiency in either Bahasa Malaysia and/or English.

2. Minimum graduate of high school qualification in science (SPM, STPM, or equivalent).

3. Diploma in Science & Technology. A food Science-related diploma is preferred.

4. Minimum 2 years working experience in a technical role in a medium/ large scale manufacturing company.
