QA Specialist (Chemist)
The QA Specialist (Chemist) performs chemical analysis using highly complex analytical instrumentation and following regulations, USP/ EP pharmacopoeia, methods, and procedures to assure the raw materials and final products comply with established specifications. Keep laboratory records and documentation according to the Good Laboratory Practices and product specifications. Carry out calculations and prepare documentation that shows the results of test performed. Grow with us- Your Responsibilities & Tasks: + Conduct raw material wet chemistry analysis using USP/EP pharmacopoeia procedures. + Performs characterization, and final product chemical analysis for cell culture media products in accordance with Sartorius Specifications, test methods and operating procedures. + Performs water chemical analysis. + Reviewing, writing, and drafting of SOP’s laboratory procedures. + Performs instrument qualification, calibration, and general preventive maintenance. + Supports Transfers Method Validation activities. + Participate and support Environmental, safety and Health to meet organizational goals. + Assures a continuous flow of all necessary supplies to run the laboratory. + Verifies chemical reports, laboratory worksheets and expiration dates of reagents, solutions, instrument calibrations and production records. Verifies calculations on generated reports. + High level of interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure, able to multi-task and results-oriented. + Performs other duties as assigned.
