QA Technician
Description

In this role, the QA Technician enables conformance to Mars Quality and Food Safety specifications and compliance to all regulatory requirements through the verification and execution of quality control protocols and monitoring of sampling and testing plans applied to packaging and product. The QA Technician contractor is a member of the Chalfont, PA site Q&FS team and is an on site position.

0-2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or experience in a technical support area (2+ years preferred)Associate degree preferredExcellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to discover issues and to verify the accuracy of information, results, and dataGeneral knowledge of ISO9000, Quality Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Systems (HACCP), and Regulatory GuidelinesProven application of hold management and/or quality toolsWorking knowledge of computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, macros, etc.Ability to work with others in R&D, Manufacturing and/or Distribution to improve product, processes, and systemsAbility to work independently as well as within a teamAbility to make timely, consistent, and well-balanced decisions.Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skillsPresentation skills for delivering training programs to a wide variety of audiencesSelf-discipline with initiative to carry out improvements of job-related responsibilitiesFlexibility to adapt to regularly changing priorities and quality issuesProficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $20.00 - $22.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
