As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will ensure product quality and compliance by conducting inspections, audits, and equipment calibrations, addressing operational and food safety concerns, managing documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

What We Offer: Pay of $15.55- 17.00 per hour based on experience Night Shift | 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Dental Insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance What We’re Looking For: High School Diploma or GED required Knowledgeable in SQF, GMP, SOP, HACCP, and food process sanitation requirements Ability to lift between 50-70 lbs Ability to work extended hours, including overtime and weekends as required Ability to perform tasks that require constant walking and standing on hard concrete surfaces Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, lifting, and climbing are part of daily responsibilities Work in environments with varying temperatures, including very hot and cold conditions Exposure to flour dust, wet floors, and occasional smoke or fumes from burned products What You’ll Do as a Quality Assurance (QA) Technician: Perform pre-operational inspections of production areas post-sanitation to ensure compliance with cleaning standards Conduct audits of production processes and finished products to verify alignment with QA SOPs, product specifications, and regulatory requirements Verify correct lot numbers at mixing stations and ensure accuracy in system entries (e.g., Plex) Retain, evaluate, and manage shift samples; collect microbiological samples as required Perform equipment calibrations per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and address issues with broken or damaged equipment Communicate operational, food safety, or quality concerns promptly to production supervision and QA leadership for corrective action Review and correct QA and production shift documentation to ensure accuracy Investigate customer complaints by reviewing retained product samples and documentation Manage product hold status in the system (e.g., Plex) when necessary Make copies of check sheets and other documentation for recordkeeping and compliance Monitor waste issues, machine malfunctions, and labor utilization to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste Support continuous improvement initiatives to achieve company goals and objectives Work extended hours, including overtime and weekends, as required by operational needs
