Pay Rate – $17/hour

Shift: 1st Shift 7:am-4pmpm (could longer depending on needs) Monday-Friday and should be open to working on Sat 

Overtime: MUST BE OPEN TO OVERTIME WILL BE WORKING LONG LONG HOURS

Job Description:

Housekeeping of pad Shoveling Sweeping Care of equipment used Keeping aware of weather conditions to help plan each day Inspecting loads at a safe distance for non-shreds, unwanted items, non-metallics and dirt Proper communication by radio to equipment operators and other co-workers Control flow of vehicles and pedestrians – truck placement/traffic on and off the shredder pad as well as during the unloading/loading or pushing up of material onto the pad. Securing rail crossing Taking weight deductions by photographing, documenting, and communicating verbally to appropriate staff. Ensuring outside haulers abide by company rules and policies and communicating failures to abide to GM, Shredder manager or yard supervisors. Compliance with company site policies and safety procedures Additional duties will include working in other areas of the facility when needed. These include but not limited to inspection of material at the Peddler area, working with Rail King operator, helping in cleaning the shredder area. Physical Demands- Should be able to lift 75lbs. be able to bend squat, kneel, twist, work in tight spaces as needed. VERY PHYSICALLY DEMANDING JOB
