Job Title: QA Technician/CMM Programmer/Operator 

Location: Brampton, ON (On-Site) 

Shift: Afternoons (2:00pm – 10:30pm) 

  

Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring product quality and supporting cross-functional teams within the production environment. They are responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality standards throughout various production processes, conducting inspections, implementing quality control procedures, and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives. 

  

Job Responsibilities: 

Minimum 3 years comprehensive CMM experience, PC-DMIS software and Quality Control.Ability to create CMM Programs using PC-DMIS software.Inspection products using CMM in accordance with our quality system procedures.Ability to read blueprint drawings and specifications.Well versed in Geometric Tolerances (GD&T).Proficient at establishing clear, complete, and precise records of First Article Inspection.Perform inspection of precision parts and assemblies to drawings and specifications (using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, shadowgraph, hardness tester, plug gauges, pin gauges) New Part Validation, PPAP & Revalidation.CNC machining process experience.Document/discuss unacceptable or nonconforming materials with internal and external parties and take corrective action.Internal auditing of control plans and process conformance.Participate in Problem Solving & Resolution, Kaizen events & 5S initiatives.ISO 9001:2015 experience.Adequate working knowledge of ANSI, ASME and ASTM standards.Excellent communication skills and attention to details.Assist the Quality Manager/Supervisor in Projects and all other duties as assigned.

  

This position will require working in a team environment with machinists, inspectors, engineers, supervisors, and managers to reduce cost and lead-time by establishing CMM programs that will decrease inspection time and provide accurate measurement results as feedback during the first article process, AQL inspection, and support of lean manufacturing. 

  

Salary: $29 – 35/hr
