Entering this domain positions you at the heart of IBM, where growth and innovation thrive. **Your role and responsibilities** * Design, develop and execute test cases-based requirements and user stories. * Maintain and enhance automated and manual test suites to stay current with new product features along with automation testscript/test framework creation and maintenance. * Troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing, triage and root cause analysis and feedback to the Development team. * Define and prepare test data and test environments to support testing. * Participate in software development lifecycle, specifically test design, execution and debugging required to achieve successful implementation of integrated solutions within the product portfolio. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Automation testing experience, at least 4-8 years. * Knowledge on general purpose testing frameworks like Junit/TestNG. * Experience on different technologies (JAVA, REST API, C/C++, Linux) * Selenium Webdriver based web automation experience. * Experience in functional testing including test planning, assessments, test development and maintenance, reporting, defect triage. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with API testing, API automation, Shell scripting and automation frameworks. * Experience on test automation development using Java. * Experience Rest API testing
