Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA)/Tester to support a team of software developers and engineers in building a full-stack web application on AWS. The role involves ensuring the quality and functionality of the application through rigorous testing processes and collaboration with the development team.
Develop and design data pipelines to support an end-to-end solutionReview application requirements and technical documentation to identify test cases and test data needsDevelop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scriptsPerform functional, regression, integration, and performance testingIdentify, document, and track defects and issues using defect tracking toolsCollaborate with developers to understand the cause and resolution of defectsProvide feedback and recommendations to developers and stakeholders on software usability and functionalityMentor and oversee junior test analysts to ensure the growth of next-generation technical resourcesParticipate in test team meetings, discuss progress, and troubleshoot issuesSupport developers and clients on testing-related inquiriesRequirements
3+ years of overall quality assurance experience along with the following experience:Test PlanningRequirements AnalysisTest DesignTest Case ExecutionDefect Logging and AnalysisTest AutomationAgile MethodologiesQuality Assurance Processes and StrategiesEducation/Certification Requirements

Experience with the following is preferred, but not required:Experience with AWS services and cloud-based applicationsFamiliarity with performance testing tools like jMeter and LoadRunnerKnowledge of database monitoring and software development conceptsProficiency in using test management tools like JiraISTQB Certification or equivalent is preferredClearance Requirements
