Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QAQC Electromech to join our team for a water utility project in the Philippines. The QAQC Electromech will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of the electrical and mechanical systems, equipment, and installations throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance and quality control plans for the electrical and mechanical aspects of the water utility project. Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical and mechanical systems, equipment, and installations to verify compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and regulations. Collaborate with the project team, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to identify and resolve any quality-related issues in a timely manner. Maintain detailed records and documentation of all quality assurance and quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team on electrical and mechanical matters, ensuring the overall quality and integrity of the water utility infrastructure. Liaise with local regulatory authorities and Bureau Veritas' regional and global teams to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Bureau Veritas' quality management systems and best practices for water utility projects.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control for water utility or similar infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, equipment, and installations, including pumps, valves, piping, and control systems. Proficiency in interpreting and applying relevant standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ASME, IEC, ISO, local Philippine regulations). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Familiarity with Bureau Veritas' quality management systems and procedures is preferred. Fluency in English and Filipino is required.
