The Systems Engineering (SE) Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon, responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system performance, and System Security Engineering (SSE).
The Land Warfare and Missile Defense Systems (LWMDS) department is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to serve as the Qatar Chief Engineer (CE) and Technical Director (TD). The CE/TD will demonstrate technical expertise and engineering skills to facilitate the design and development of world-class Air and Missile Defense Systems. The Qatar CE/TD will be responsible for all country capability roadmaps, system analysis, concept development, requirements development, hardware design, software design, integration thread development, system performance to include integration and test, and integrated sustainment plans on the Qatar Patriot program and future Qatar LWAD programs. This position will interface with the customers from the United States Government (USG) and the Qatar Government. This position is in Tewksbury, MA and will require occasional travel.

What You will Do:
You will establish and manage a program vision, strategy and goals to align the Program with the Customer expectations and facilitate conflict resolutionYou will ensure technical integrity and engineering implementation across all Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Cross Product Teams (CPTs), and disciplines within the Program to cost, schedule, technical requirementsYou will be the primary program technical point of contact with customer senior technical counterparts and internal senior program and engineering stakeholders.You will provide technical advisory disposition for Export / Import (EXIM) compliance~10% Domestic/International travelQualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor Degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of Engineering or related technical discipline experience. In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is typically required.Experience in Patriot Program system design, development, integration/verification, production, and sustainmentDemonstrated experience in strategic development, customer interface, or contract capture in the Defense IndustryActive and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer:

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
