The Quality Control Chemist I (QCC) will be responsible for performing testing of finished products and raw materials according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), in-house test methods, and/or compendial methods. The role involves working with various laboratory instruments, troubleshooting, and supporting the Quality Control (QC) team in maintaining high standards of laboratory practice.
Key Responsibilities:Testing: Conduct release, stability, and special request testing of finished products and raw materials in compliance with established SOPs and compendial methods.Instrumentation Training: Train on and operate a range of laboratory instruments, including but not limited to Laboratory Balances, HPLC, GC, Automated Titrators, FTIR, UV/Vis Spectrophotometer, Polarimeter, and Dissolution and Disintegration instruments.Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with publications from the USP, FDA, and other relevant regulatory bodies to ensure the QC laboratory adheres to applicable guidelines in analytical applications, release specifications, and documentation practices.Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving Out of Specification (OOS) results and effectively communicate with QC management and other departments to address and document any issues.Training: Assist in the training of new laboratory personnel and maintain proper training documentation in accordance with Nutramax's training program.Documentation: Follow cGMP guidelines to record procedures accurately and in a timely manner.Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that laboratory equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives and ensure smooth operations within the lab environment.Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols.Minimum Qualifications:Experience: 1-5 years of laboratory experience in a cGMP environment is preferred.Instrumentation Skills: Experience with laboratory instrumentation, such as Gas Chromatography (GC) and/or Liquid Chromatography (LC), and the ability to troubleshoot and revise operating procedures and test methods.Education: A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in a science-related field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology preferred).Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work collaboratively with different levels of personnel. 1404195_1737745326 To Apply for this Job Click Here
