What You'll DoResponsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic cables, conduit installations, and network connections, to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.Perform quality control inspections of vault and pedestal installationsConduct quality inspections during the installation process to ensure work meets plans and specificationsPerform final inspections as requested by customers to ensure compliance with construction standardsIdentify issues and report them to relevant team members for resolutionSupport pre-construction photo/video documentation where requiredMaintain accurate records and reporting of inspection activityEnsure all required testing is completed as specified and document the resultsFollow installation milestones and support project activities as directed by managementWork overtime, travel, and handle on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed, and perform duties in all weather conditionsOther duties as assignedPhysical abilities & exposures
Routinely work alone in remote locations, operate a vehicle, squeeze, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, use keyboard and mouseOccasionally work at heights, use a ladder, lift greater than 55 poundsComfortable working outdoors in various weather conditionsWhat You'll Bring
Qualifications:
Valid State driver's license with a satisfactory driving recordOne year of relevant work experienceMust be proficient with Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc. Must know the quality processes and be familiar with a variety of safety programsPrevious telecommunications work experience is preferredExceptional organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills and problem-solving skillsHighly motivated, dependable, and proactiveKnowledge and understanding of the telecommunication construction industry standard practicesKnowledge of Customer Installation Standards and DocumentationAuthorization to work in the United States What You'll GetAs a Quanta Services employee, you'll be offered a wide range of benefits to fit your needs.
