Job Title: QC Equipment Technician
Job Description

The QC Equipment Technician will assist with bioassay and microbiology equipment qualification, minor repair, and calibration for use in various laboratories. They will also assist with the transition of new software onto several pieces of equipment. The technician will track all equipment, including model and serial number, for the completion of tasks.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with bioassay and microbiology equipment qualification, minor repair, and calibration.Help transition new software onto various pieces of equipment.Track all equipment, including model and serial number, for task completion.Oversee QC micro release testing to move samples through the process.Essential SkillsExperience with lab equipment and environmental monitoring.Knowledge of IQ, OQ, PQ processes.Experience in bioassay, microbiology, and quality control.Understanding of method validation and assay management.Proficiency in equipment life cycle management and asset management.Ability to troubleshoot and validate equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsBS or Masters degree in Biology or Microbiology.5+ years of previous QC micro experience.Work Environment

The QC Equipment Technician will work 1st shift, Monday to Friday, and be 100% onsite. The role is within the QC Micro group, consisting of 5-6 people, with a 4th supervisor overseeing other departments. The dress code is business casual, and the ideal candidate should be a hard worker and team player.
