QC Inspector
**Job Title: Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies through accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections. The Inspector will document and report all findings, oversee inspections, and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, GD&T, and Technical Specifications. + Use precision measuring tools and equipment accurately. + Organize daily workload to meet objectives. + Perform mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to drawings, quality process documents, and specifications. + Document and report all inspection findings. + Conduct In Process and Incoming Goods Inspections. + Oversee and carry out Finished Goods and Final Goods Inspections, preparing reports. + Check Travelers for completeness at all stages of manufacture. + Perform First Article Inspections and prepare reports to support part and component qualification processes. + Identify, segregate, log Non-Conformances, and assist in determining disposition. + Determine acceptability of Rework by inspection and completing the Non-conformance process. + Monitor and follow up on Corrective Actions to inspection findings. + Ensure all products meet customer purchase order standards. + Log key characteristic process data on Statistical Process Control Charts. + Maintain the integrity of Inspection documents within the Company Database. + Conduct material kit audits to ensure integrity of the kitting process and materials used. + Conduct product identification and traceability activities per Work Instructions. + Perform weekly Expiring Material Reviews per Work Instructions. + Ensure calibration, validation, and maintenance of inspection equipment. + Collaborate with other Departments to resolve inspection issues. + Promote a team environment and develop a Quality-centered culture. + Conduct internal audits of the company QMS in line with the Internal Audit Schedule. + Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. + Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations. + Suggest ideas for Continuous Improvement, simplifying processes, tooling, and equipment to increase throughput, improve Quality, and raise profitability. + Update job knowledge by enhancing existing skills and developing new ones through educational opportunities and reading technical publications. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control function in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to read and understand specifications. + Troubleshoot errors on parts. + Proficiency with standard measuring equipment (hand tools, calipers, height gauges, micrometers, etc.) - open to training. + Solid reading, writing, and comprehension skills for communication with all levels (production, management, engineers, and leadership). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a QA role. + Experience conducting internal audits. + Knowledge of Statistical Process Control Charts. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a family-style environment where employees are treated very well.
