**Pay:** $18.00/hr. - $20.00/hr.
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a **Quality Control Inspector I** to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine checks, testing, gauging, and instrument inspections of incoming materials, goods in process, and finished goods to ensure they meet company quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform routine tests on incoming materials, goods in process, or finished goods, ensuring compliance with company quality standards.
+ Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using hand tools, vision systems, CMM, and other electronic equipment.
+ Perform detailed inspections as necessary to determine product quality.
+ Remove defective materials from active locations and notify the manager if inspection data exceeds acceptable limits or if major incidents of poor quality are noted.
+ Record inspection results, including the number of defects found, and complete standardized inspection forms in accordance with requirements.
+ Recommend product disposition to the manager for questionable products.
+ Place purchased nonconforming products on hold and work with the manager to resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
+ Review and approve certification of conformance.
+ Demonstrate good housekeeping and safety techniques during task performance.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by management.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or technical school education (or equivalent), with a mathematics emphasis.
+ Basic blueprint reading skills, with knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
+ Dexterity and precision to operate gauges and testing equipment.
+ Ability to review and comprehend written instructions, blueprints, specifications, and methods.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Strong proficiency with measurement and inspection techniques.
+ CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience is a BIG PLUS.
+ Ability to perform First Article Inspections (FAI) to verify manufacturing process compliance with blueprint tolerances.
**Desired Skills:**
+ Experience with reviewing and comprehending written instructions, including blueprints, specifications, and methods.
+ Strong attention to detail, ensuring product quality meets the highest standards.
