QC Lab Sample Coordinator

Job Summary

Responsibilities consist of sample preparation including the shipping, receiving and general sample warehouse maintenance. These responsibilities include filling and preparing customer sample orders and accounting for inventory on hand. Coordination with Supply Chain, Innovations, and Sales personnel and for tracking finished goods samples.

Responsibilities/Description: • Sample preparation including the shipping, receiving and general sample warehouse maintenance. • Fill and prepare customer sample orders and accounting for inventory on hand. Coordination with Supply Chain, Innovations, and Sales personnel and for tracking finished goods samples • Process materials receipt for production and/or general office operations by receiving and properly storing raw materials, packaging, and finished product and verifying documents. • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices for the care, handling, and storage of food products; and report any known or observed violations to management. • Print sample requests for each shipment. • Print address labels and affix to outbound sample shipments. • Ensure stability and accuracy of packages by properly loading, verifying labels/lot numbers and checking package conditions. • Accurately record data, input data into computer and fully check the shipment as required. • Complete paperwork so that proper records may be maintained. • Maintain office and samples warehouse by cleaning and straightening work area as needed. • Utilize HACCP philosophy and procedures in everyday work routine. • Accurately take physical inventory counts of all materials. • Regular attendance is an essential function of this position. • Performs a variety of administrative duties. • Supports one or more members of management. • Resolves routine and non-routine inquiries. • Maintains confidentiality. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent education • + 6 months experience in order fulfillment • Experience with computerized operations, data entry and/or computer input • Knowledge of all materials to ensure against foreign contamination or unusual physical qualities. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all departments • Mathematical skills • Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions • Ability to work independently • Ability to read computer generated reports. • Ability to distinguish product names, resource numbers, lot numbers and warehouse locations.] • Ability to accurately verify weights and amounts through mathematical calculations. • Ability to lift up to and including 55 pound packages in a safe manner. • Ability to understand and follow procedures of the department for the proper use of the department's equipment. Training / Certifications: • Forklift training • IATA training • HAZMAT training
