Job DescriptionPosition Responsibilities:
Verification of sample submissions to Quality ControlDocumentation of sample transactions in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)Handling, storage, and organization of samplesDelivering samples to QC laboratories for testing as requiredInteracting with outside customers and functional peer groupsFulfilling sample pull requestsCompliance with all pertinent regulatory agency requirementsConducting temperature, environmental, and/or CO2 monitoring.Preparation of samples for shipmentPerforming sample inventory and disposalEnsuring compliance with SOPs; reports any quality or other anomalies through the Deviation Notification and Resolution systemLeadership Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Sample Management Specialists in a regulated facilityCoordinates, supports, and monitors performance of team through quality metrics while ensuring client deadlines are metCoordinates with client contacts to communicate status of deliverables, determine priorities, and set timelines.Set individual and team goals to develop the scope of work and responsibilities of the teamManage time off and payroll entries of the teamMay participate in new hire interviewsSupports the on-boarding process of new employeesParticipates in training of other employees.QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:

Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY are encouraged to apply. Compensation is $26.00-$32.00 per hour based on experience.
