QC Sample Management Lead (M-F, 2-11 pm)

And our site is nestled in the hub of innovation, representing a source of pride for the area. **Job Description** **_Primary Responsibilities_** **_:_** + Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other related Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) + Manage test samples, criticalreagentsand reference materials. + Perform shipments to external testing facilities and clients. + Help to maintain safety and orderliness of the lab: apply knowledge ofcGMPsand GLPs on daily basis. Ensure labs aremaintained(Organized, clean, properly supplied). + Maintaining inventory + Fulfill QC Analyst samplerequests. + Lead technical training for less experienced members of the team. + Technical Writing to include: + Writes and revises Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) documentation asappropriate. + Lead the initiation and closure of deviations, CAPAs and Change Controls. + Ensure samples are put intoSmartQCfor testing. + Managethetasks and delegatetoAnalysts under general direction. + Host daily shift meetings. + Identifydeviations and reportpossible preventativeand corrective actions usingTrackwise. + Discuss inventory requests with Project Managers + Excellent written and oral communication skills. + Ability to work independently, along with ability to work well within a team. + Perform as a SME on sample management processes. + Previouspipetting experience. + Excellent attention to detailand ability toutilizeproblem solving/trouble shooting skills. + Computer proficiently. + Role model for company core values of trust, delighting our customers, Gemba and Genki. + Demonstrated leadership skills. + Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. + Perform other duties as assigned. **_Qualifications_** **_for External Candidates_** **_:_** + High School Diploma or GED, AND at leastSix(6) years of relevant GMP Experience OR; + Associate’s degree preferably in Biochemistry, Chemistry,Biologyor related field AND at leastfour(4) years of relevant GMP Experience OR; + Bachelor’s degree preferably in Biochemistry, Chemistry,Biologyor related field AND at leasttwo(2) years of relevant GMP Experience OR; + Master’s degree preferably in Biochemistry, Chemistry,Biologyor related field AND at least two (2) years of relevant GMP Experience **_Physical Requirements:_** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  While performing the duties of this job, the employeeis regularly required to: + Experience prolonged standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. + Use hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient tooperatea keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment isrequired. + Ability to sit forlong periodsto work on a computer. + Lift upto 15lbs regularly and up to 30lbs on occasion. + Potential for exposure to hazardous chemicals, gases, fumes, odors,mists, anddusts, and other hazardous materials. + Ability to wear personal protective equipment including safety glasses, lab coat, gloves, specialized clothing including laboratory scrubs (pants and shirt) andappropriate shoesrequiredin most areas associated with this position. + Attendance is mandatory. _To all agencies: Please, no phone calls or emails to any employee of FUJIFILM about this requisition.
