QC Supervisor (Diagnostic) Quality Control Santa Clara, CA, US Pay Rate Low: 60 | Pay Rate High: 75 + Added - 23/10/2024 Apply for Job Growing Diagnostics company is seeking a QC Supervisor to join their team! This is a direct hire opportunity. Salary range: $75-95K annually **Responsibilities:** + Oversee the QC Department to ensure all products meet quality standards. + Develop and implement testing and inspection protocols at various production stages. + Create reports documenting production and raw material issues. + Manage project distribution, priorities, and workloads within the QC team. + Supervise, evaluate, and train QC staff, setting quality expectations. + Advise team members on best practices and work techniques. + Approve products, including EIA bulks and test kits, and inspect final product specifications. + Manage QC retains, testing schedules, data, reports, and SOPs. + Review and make decisions on retain testing and QC results. + Oversee raw material qualification and disposal processes. + Coordinate instrument validation, equipment maintenance, and QC project rotations. + Drive process improvements and develop/update SOPs. + Organize QC and QA meetings, documenting minutes. + Communicate QC issues to the VP of Operations for R&D discussions. + Collaborate with other departments, including Production and Regulatory. + Coordinate with Customer Service on product and customer concerns. + Propose corrective actions to enhance compliance with quality standards. + Prepare reports for stability and risk meetings. + Investigate product issues and manage secondary vendor and stability studies. + Oversee QC documentation and records. Requirements: + BS degree in any scientific discipline. + 5+ years of QC experience or equivalent. + 1-3 years supervisory experience required. + Excellent writing and communication skills. + Must be detail oriented and excellent at record keeping. + Able to think critically, analyze and troubleshoot data. + Must be able to lift/move up to 40 pounds. + Familiarity with a laboratory setting and handling of lab related materials.
