QC Technician I

Job Summary: 

Perform all raw materials and standardized test procedures and methods. Must possess working knowledge of wet chemistry techniques and some instrumentation skills. Must adhere to Good Laboratory Practices. Work reviewed daily.

Principal Responsibilities :

Daily routine testing (including sensory) of finished products and inspection of incoming goods.Maintenance of specifications and records of finished products and raw materials.Assisting in the investigation of production issues and customer complaints.Assisting in cleaning and organisation of the QC Lab.Take part in auditing to ensure GMP compliance or Quality standard of the facility is maintained.Other QA/QC duties as directed by the QA/QC Team Leader /or Technical Manager.

Education & Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Food Science, Food Technology or Technical Degree required. At least 1 - 2 years of experience in lab environment required. Understands basic statistical tools.Knowledge of GMP standard

Skills & Abilities: 

Basic laboratory instrumentation.Use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).Strong communication skills in both verbal and writing. Technical ability Ability to do sensory testing with no color blind and food allergiesMeticulous and attention to details Systematic and organizedGood attitude and team player
