Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a QC Technician, II at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the detailed production of premier products.

Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality systemPerform in-process quality inspections during manufacturing to determine compliance with approved requirementsIdentify and address quality defects in a timely manner to prevent repeated failuresRecord in-process quality inspections and track the number of defects identifiedCollaborate with the Quality Assurance team to find areas for ongoing improvement.Partner with manufacturing personnel for line opening and closing activitiesDocument nonconformances in the quality system and participate in the DR/CAPA systemAssist in revising departmental processes to drive continual improvementAdjust work schedules as required to support changes in the manufacturing schedulePerform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent with 3-5 years of confirmed experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.Experience and knowledge of ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 preferredFamiliarity with inspection principles and conceptsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to function in a team environment and receive mentorship with minimal supervisionAttentive to details and capable of managing multiple tasksBasic knowledge of computer applications required
