We are seeking a Quality Control Technician with CWI certification for a maintenance position in Saint Paul, MN. This role is responsible for coordinating quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards. Daily wear for this position is FR Clothing. Non-exempt role; Reports to Site QC Manager; Performs a variety of routine duties within established policies. This position does not have per diem; listing is for local canidates - no relocation. \n

Essential Qualifications: \n\nMinimum of three (3) years of experience in all aspects of welding, qualility control, and \/ or instepctions\nAbility to read isometric diagrams, PIDs, CAD drawing, and 3D modeling\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, orgaizational, and problem soliving skills\nCWI certification\nValid drivers license\nPass DISA background check and drug screen\nBasic Plus Reciporcal Orientation or SE-SAFE -Safety Essentials\n\n

Functional Requirements:\n\nDevelops an understanding and working knowledge of the company quality control program, company
standards, procedures, codes, etc. required to perform assigned work.\nPerforms inspections and witnesses tests to determine acceptability of work.\nPerforms audits to ensure compliance with QA\/QC requirements.\nDefines corrective measures for problem areas and ensures implementation.\nFormulates and maintains quality control objectives and supervises workers engaged in plant functions, such
as inspection and testing to ensure continuous quality control over materials and production facilities.\nDevelops and analyses statistical data and specifications to indicate present product standards and establish
proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.\nPlans, promotes, and organizes quality and reliability activities.\nMaintains work performance records, inspection records and other related items; assures correctness of all
documents.\nPerform additional assignments per supervisor's direction\n\n
