QCS Advanced Field Service Engineer

We are seeking an Advanced Field Service Engineer in the Longview, WA area.

\n

The primary focus is to provide continuing service support for Honeywell’s QCS platforms used in Pulp and Paper in the Washington and Oregon areas.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n\nPreventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, and Emergency Support maintenance of customer's for various Honeywell Quality Control Systems.\nTroubleshoot and solve system and process related problems.\nPerform sensor verification and calibration.\nPublish critical reporting to customers including Monthly Performance, Results Reports, Correction Action Reports.\nActively interface with customers at all levels. Ensures customer satisfaction through oral and written communication.\n\n

The annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in Honeywell QCS platforms and Electronics.\nRead and understand technical drawings.\n1 year of experience using Basic Windows and Microsoft Office experience.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience maintaining Honeywell QCS Platforms and MD and CD Control packages\nCapable of verifying and calibrating sensors as well as possessing a working knowledge of sensor operations and correctors.\n\n

\n\nBe able to work effectively both individually and with a group without need of direct supervision.\nCritical thinking and troubleshooting skills; capable of learning available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problems.\nCapable of developing new PMS for existing and new products as knowledge is acquired.\nDesign/Engineer solutions to prevent reoccurring problems as knowledge is acquired. Capable of writing, reviewing, and / or editing various types of technical reports.\nAble to conduct formal meetings with customer management personal.\nCapable of evaluating control effectiveness as knowledge is acquired.\nKnowledgeable of system architecture and operations as well as applicable database items needed for basic maintenance and calibration.\nProject a positive and confident attitude focused on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.\nBackgrounds in Process Control Systems, Information Technologies, or military.\nExperience with other vendors QCS platforms and equipment.\nFamiliar with Honeywell Distributed Control Systems.\n\nABOUT HONEYWELL\n
