Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling APIs, AWS, Test Planning and Execution, Test Management, Project Management, Release Planning, Integration Testing, and Requirement Analysis. Knowledge of API Automation on Postman or any other API tool is a plus, and hands-on experience with Postman is a must.

Key Responsibilities

API Testing:Have good understanding on APIs execution to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements.AWS Integration:Utilize AWS services for CloudWatch, Dynamo DB, testing and APIs.Test Planning and Execution:Review comprehensive test plans and provide feedback to ensure thorough Integration coverage to ensure software quality.Test Management:Manage the testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, and reporting.Project Management:Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.Release Planning:Work with development and operations teams to plan and coordinate software releases.Integration Testing:Integration testing understanding to ensure different system components work together seamlessly.Requirement Analysis:Analyze business and technical requirements to ensure thorough coverage in test plans and strategies.Postman: Use Postman for API testing, including creating and running collections, and generating reports.Agile: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.Experience with API automation will be plus.Relevant certifications in AWS or software testing.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on APIs and AWS.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Postman, test automation tools, and scripting languages.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Life at Capgemini
