Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java and Python and domain experience in Hi-Tech and Finance & Accounting. This hybrid role requires proficiency in English Spanish and Italian. The position operates in a day shift with no travel required.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of test plans and test cases for software applications.Oversee the automation of test scripts using Java and Python to ensure high-quality software delivery.Provide detailed reports on software quality identifying and documenting defects and issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality standards in all phases of the software development lifecycle.Conduct thorough reviews of software requirements and design documents to ensure clarity and completeness.Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to enhance overall product quality.Monitor and analyze test results providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software quality assurance.Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.Mentor and guide junior quality engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Communicate effectively with stakeholders in English Spanish and Italian to ensure alignment on quality objectives.Utilize domain knowledge in Hi-Tech and Finance & Accounting to identify and address industry-specific quality challenges.Contribute to the development of quality metrics and KPIs to measure and improve software quality over time.

Qualifications

Possess strong technical skills in Java and Python with a proven track record of developing and executing automated test scripts.Demonstrate domain expertise in Hi-Tech and Finance & Accounting with the ability to apply this knowledge to software quality assurance.Exhibit excellent communication skills in English Spanish and Italian both written and spoken.Show a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies.Have experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.Display a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.Be detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Have a passion for delivering high-quality software that meets or exceeds customer expectations.Show the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Exhibit a commitment to staying current with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance.Possess a certification in software quality assurance or a related field such as ISTQB or CSTE.
