The QEW Supervisor position requires an experienced journeyman level electrical lineman with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience. The role involves overseeing 2 person Qualified Non-Electrical Worker teams, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities
Safety: Prioritize safety, enforce safety standards, and train crews. Quality: Maintain high-quality work standards and customer satisfaction. Field Production: Optimize productivity and efficiency through effective field operation, practices, planning and scheduling. Cost Control: Monitor and manage labor, equipment, and material expenses. Administration: Handle paperwork, regulatory compliance, and reporting.Requirements
Journeyman Electrician Lineman with QEW certification Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical line work and underground electrical distribution preferred. Strong understanding of safety standards (NFPA 70E, NESC, GEO 95, etc.) Demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant technologies to include (DCT, Data Delivery, GPS, MAPPING, Payroll) Experience interpreting blueprints safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Valid driver's license required no DUI/DWI w/in last 5 years. Ability to travel and work flexible hours.Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. They must have full range of mobility in upper and lower body. The employee is frequently required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk; hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may routinely handle and/or apply coatings, and/or other chemical substances. The position regularly works in outdoor conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, cold and freezing temperatures, and exposure to poisonous plants, insects, and allergens. The employee may also be exposed to energized electrical equipment and will be required to take appropriate precautions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with short periods of loud noise exceeding 85 decibels.
Travel
Varies by customer and/or location and can include frequent Monday through Friday overnight travel throughout one or more states. Extended work weeks and overtime hours are probable during peak work periods or for specific jobs. Must maintain consistent attendance record and be available for work Monday through Saturday.
