The QGenda Program Manager role will report to the Vice President of Practice Operations and is an integral part of QGenda customer experience team at IU Health. This role will focus on business processes to ensure timely implementations for each hospital/region, be the primary guide with the customers through each implementation phase, keeping all involved parties informed through constant communication of project status, objectives, communication plans and ensuring deadlines are met. The program manager is responsible for establishing a strong foundation that will drive the project success through collaboration with IS and physician group leaders across the state. 

Plans and leads complex initiatives and multiple projects consistent with IU Health growth initiatives. Determines, maintains, communicates, and manages project organization, prioritization, and strategic and tactical plans. Provides data tracking and analytics for input into executive leadership reporting and decision making. Assists in the development of strategic plans for the system and leads the development of sustainable, documented processes to support the business. Executes on initiatives based on sound data and leads performance improvement initiatives. Develops, monitors, and reports on operational performance, trending analysis and market comparisons, and special projects related to growth and financial performance. Collaborates with management and peers, and works cross functionally across the system to continually identify and lead improvement initiatives.

-The QGenda Project, in support of the unified Indiana University Health Medical Group, will bring approximately 5,000 providers onto one scheduling and on-call platform.

-This multi-year program will allow IU Health the ability to standardize our scheduling practices by service line. Taking 29 disparate databases onto a single platform, giving IU Health the ability to report and schedule providers in a consistent manner, based on service line.

Overall, the program manager will make an impact by working with both existing and future QGenda users to ensure we deploy an enterprise solution on time and within scope. Manage internal stakeholders to ensure all customer requirements are scoped and delivered on time. Develop and maintain documentation to effectively manage onboarding new groups to QGenda’s advanced scheduling and on-call modules. Collaborate within and across teams to identify opportunities for continued innovation and improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages a complex portfolio of projects for the assigned business unit.

Ensures projects are managed appropriately, utilizing standard project management methodologies, processes, tools, and resource planning.

Develops project plans based on customer specifications that result in optimized performance, cost savings, efficiency and overall return on investments.

STRONGLY PREFERRED:

Prior QGenda provider scheduling and on-call experience is helpful for this role.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

PMP Preferred

Excellent customer service, ability to work directly with end users (i.e., physicians, APPs, schedulers)

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Requires 5-7 years of relevant and complex project management experience.
• Program management experience is preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
