Job Description QHSE Coordinator
Responsibilities
Report directly to the HSEQA Manager Develop, implement and maintain project Health, Safety, Security and Environment plan and other project-related documents like PGRTA - Risk Management Program for Offshore Workers, Respiratory Protection Program (PPR), Hearing Control Program (PCA), Hazard report, Ergonomic Report, Risk Map & etc as required by Contract. Assist HQ with the implementation of the current Safety Management System onboard the vessels. Carry out internal (ISM, ISPS and ISO) vessel audits in accordance with the management system requirements. Assist in the internal Office audit in accordance with the management system requirement and Client/charterers' requirements Lead the Risk Assessment / HAZID workshop for Project HSE requirements Lead and engage with the investigation team in accident/incident investigation and nonconformity Lead, promote and participate in HSE initiatives & Campaigns onboard and ashore Maintain vessel and office HSE records for compliance requirement Support the HSEQA Dept in carrying out training, audits and inspections onboard and ashore. Join vessels for short voyages to conduct audits, Inspections or training. Deployable for short-term overseas shore or vessel posting.
Education and Qualifications
Deck Officer Experience / Offshore Experience or, Safety Engineering, HSEQ Management or related area; Preferably with sailing experience and holding a Certificate of Competency of Deck/Engine Recognition of sound experience in place of formal qualifications may be acceptable Internal auditor certification for ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO 9001/14001/45001 Risk Assessment and Incident Investigation Knowledge of human factors approach to improve Safety and vessel overall performance
Personal Skills:
Personal: Safety aware. Positive, assertive, conscientious. Able to work well with all levels of personnel. Leadership: Good levels of written and spoken communication. Innovative with initiative. Good presentation skills.
Preferred
Knowledge of marine and/or offshore operations, project HSE management, relevant legislation and class rules Relevant experience in shipboard management, health, safety and environmental protection Experience in handling offshore HSE project execution more than 03 years; Experience with Petrobras contracts; Preferably experience with MODU Code
