About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on QESH Manager to lead and enhance our Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Health standards at our busy production site in Hillegom. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee a team of 6 quality professionals, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and improving our processes. You will be the first point of contact for all QESH-related topics, working closely with departments such as Production, Maintenance, and R&D. This role is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves to coach and develop teams, and has a strong passion for quality and safety standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor the QESH team to maintain high standards in quality and safety. Oversee quality processes, including non-conformance issues, validation, batch release, and audits. Drive continuous improvement in safety and health practices, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and customer complaints. Manage safety programs and lead health & safety training across the site. Serve as a key player in external and internal audits.

 

Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in a QESH leadership role, either in a manufacturing or chemical environment. Strong knowledge of ISO, GMP, and safety regulations. Fluent in Dutch and English (essential). Experience managing or leading a young team through a growth phase. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Background in chemistry or chemical industry experience is strongly preferred.
