**Job Overview:**
The QHSES Training Tech provides solutions to problems in the QHSES Training discipline without supervisory approval and will evaluate and select solutions from established operating procedures and scientific procedures.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Complete the Trainer Development Program and be deemed competent by an SME to train/assess QHSES training
+ Complete assigned ‘Train the Trainer’ QHSES courses
+ Deliver and facilitate assigned QHSES training courses and assess delegates on required criteria during the course
+ Assist QHSES Training Manager with the curriculum design, development, and implementation
+ Develop and maintain QHSES training equipment maintenance plans
+ Review course evaluations with the QHSES Training Manager as required
+ Assist the QHSES Training Manager with the evaluation of training proposals from selected external providers
+ Verify that the equipment and lighting, furniture, projectors, and sound system are working properly to facilitate the learning experience
+ Prepare and conduct risk assessments when practical/hands-on demonstration and assessment are needed
+ Ensure that course design is reviewed and approved in accordance with the details documented in the procedure, with the participation of a subject matter expert (SME) to develop the course material
+ Execute internal and external audits as required
+ Demonstrate the behaviors of the “Code of Conduct Trainers” at all times
**Essential Qualifications and Education:**
+ Degree or related discipline with equivalent work experience
+ At least three (3) years of experience in dedicated training and teaching capacity
+ Ability to work cooperatively with others to obtain required information, assess needs and effectively transfer knowledge
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Database usage required
+ Comfortable with public speaking and presenting
+ Knowledge of training techniques and adult learning
+ Must demonstrate good written and oral communication skills
