QI Field Services Senior Director
NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. As the Senior Director, you will oversee the Children and Families Center of Excellence and the Quality Improvement group and be responsible for the direction and oversight of the systems that monitor the quality, efficacy, and efficiency of services. You will promote continuous quality improvement in our services and clinical practices. + Drive clinical best practice, quality improvement, and business development priorities for all Child and Families Services + Lead initiatives to standardize operating practices, develop tools to monitor and analyze outcomes to inform practice improvements and clinical model development + Oversee data integrity and utilization of databases for assigned states + Analyze data and proactively identify opportunities for improvement + Partner with state leadership to develop and implement strategies toward improvement + Partner with external associates in conducting research, examining performance indicators and project outcomes + Ensure delivery of high-quality services in a fully diversified continuum of program models including Home-Based Therapy, Treatment Foster Care, Transition to Adulthood Services, Shared Living, Group Home, Vocational and Day Services, etc. + Oversee the Children and Family Services Team to support the development and integration of the Family Vistas Model and the development of At-Risk Youth services; lead initiatives to promote a culture of safety for all children served in Treatment Foster Care programs nationally + Supervise a high performing team of experienced child welfare and behavioral health experts dedicated to the expansion of the continuum of evidence-informed and evidence-based treatment models + Oversee the development of clinical training resources and professional development activities + Lead the Quality Improvement Group in promoting continuous quality improvement; oversee Quality Improvement projects + Represent assigned region on the QI Network leadership team and drive the planning and implementation of quality initiatives + Partner with assigned states to develop and implement continuous quality improvement plans + Ensure implementation of corporate and Operating Group objectives or other initiatives in assigned states and, as directed, take the lead role for Region-specific quality strategies + Act as SME and provide technical assistance regarding process improvement initiatives, with a focus on quality assurance + Develop and promote systems and processes for effective communication with regional and state leadership teams and QI staff to elicit feedback and disseminate information + Participate in Operating Group and corporate quality and resource development initiatives + Manage consultant contracts for external research associates; manage the consultation contracts with the Medical Directors Participate in the clinical/risk management team + Conduct risk management activities as requested by the Operating Group QI VP or Network Legal Counsel; Consult with the Regional team and QI Manager to follow through on critical events and identify methods to improve safety and minimize risk to clients and others + Oversee internal investigations of critical incidents in assigned states to ensure compliance with Network and operating group standards; oversee state compliance with the Incident Management Protocol and Mortality Review Protocol; in addition to Operating Group requirements + Support QI Manager with diligence assessments and evaluation of prospective mergers and acquisitions Support the design and development of client registration and information systems + Manage the Quality Improvement budgets + Compliance with Internal and External Standards: + Proactively identify patterns of noncompliance across assigned states with state leadership team to identify strategies to address issues and develop corrective action plans + Conduct periodic on-site compliance reviews + Review Network Performance Audit results for assigned states at least quarterly and identify patterns and trends; support states in developing corrective action plans in response to any findings + Represent assigned states and provide input into the development of corporate policies and procedures for service excellence, risk management, and compliance with applicable standards + Collaborate with Operations leadership and QI Managers to determine local customer engagement activities; analyze customer engagement survey findings and ensure improvement plans are designed and implemented, as applicable + Direct the Senior Director of Clinical Practice, Project Manager, and the Quality Improvement Manager or equivalent, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training **NOTE:** This role is responsible for covering California, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas **_Qualifications:_** + Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Social Services strongly preferred + 10-15 years of experience in a clinical role (Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language pathology). + Must have experience with Joint Commissions, CARF, and working with Rehabilitation Hospitals. + Excellent leadership skills with an ability to influence others and drive change;
