As part of the Quality Improvement (QI) department, the Data Analyst is responsible for reporting and analysis of clinical outcomes, health and wellness indicators, state and program licensing, various compliance requirements, and other quality indicators. They ensure data is reliable and provides support to the field staff and/or Quality Improvement (QI) department with various data requirements and training as necessary. This role is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere in the US. **_Responsibilities:_** + _Develops, creates, and customizes reports based on business requirements._ + _Designs interactive, on-demand reporting dashboards using Power BI and SQL._ + _Streamlines and improves data extraction, SQL scripts, reporting, and analysis._ + _Support ad hoc reporting and data requests by looking for opportunities for self-service and automation and working closely with other members of the QI Reporting and Analytics team._ + _Analyzes data across departments, e.g. HR, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Quality, Finance._ + _Collects and extracts data from primary or secondary data sources._ + _Filters and scrubs data while maintaining data integrity and quality._ + _Documents the end to end reporting phases, from requirements to parameters to repeatable steps._ + _Support strategic initiatives using effective intake processes designed to drive data centralization and automation of analytics._ + _Reviews and recommends best practices on data analysis projects._ + _Works closely with other Quality Improvement and Business Intelligence Data Analysts to understand Sevita’s business practices and data structures._ + _Works with and manages relationships with internal and external business partners._ + _Provides training on the use of dashboards and reports._ + _Communicates with various QI management levels within the QI functions._ + _Performs other related duties, project, and activities as required._ **_Qualifications:_** + Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field. + One to two years of experience in reporting or analytics preferred + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel operations, functions, and formulas is required. + SQL knowledge is required. + Knowledge of relational databases required. + Knowledge of data visualization and reporting software such as Power BI or SSRS is preferred. + Knowledge of SPSS, R, Python, or other statistical software is preferred. + Knowledge of Microsoft Access preferred. + VBA knowledge is preferred. + Strong analytical skills and technical skills to collect, organize and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, presentation skills + Demonstrated organizational skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to multitask under pressure + Strong commitment to providing quality customer service and client interaction **_Why Join Us?_** + Full compensation/benefits package for employees working over 30 hours/week + 401(k) with company match + Paid time off and holiday pay + Enjoy complex work that makes a difference in the lives of those we serve + Career development and advancement opportunities across a nationwide network Sevita is a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care.
