Responsibilities As a Qlik BI Developer for the EDW Migration Project, the candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining Qlik applications. The primary focus will be on extracting data lineage from the multi-layer architecture and ensuring a seamless migration of data sources from Teradata to Google BigQuery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Qlik Development: Design, develop, and maintain QlikView, Qlik Sense, and Qlik NPrinting applications tailored to support the EDW migration project.
· Data Lineage Extraction: Document and maintain comprehensive data lineage across multi-layer architectures, ensuring transparency and traceability of data flow.
· Data Source Migration: Plan and execute the migration of data sources from Teradata to Google BigQuery, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
· Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting) is a plus.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills
· Experience with cloud data platforms and services, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
· Familiarity with other BI tools and data visualization platforms.
· Certification in Qlik or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
· Advanced Qlik Expertise: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with QlikView, Qlik Sense, and Qlik NPrinting, including advanced scripting, data modeling, and visualization techniques.
· Data Lineage Tools: Familiarity with data lineage and metadata management tools, ensuring comprehensive tracking and documentation of data flow.
