Position Summary


 Quality Mart Junior Assistant Manager is responsible for providing the best overall service to all customers. This includes greeting all customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, monitoring the cash register, ringing up sales, requesting money for purchases, and giving back correct change. In addition to these the Junior Assistant Manager is required to stock and organize the store area, remove trash, ensure that the store is clean for customers and employees. The Junior Assistant Manager will assist the Assistant Manager and Manager in paperwork duties and will hold keys to the store that allow him/her to open and/or close the store, will cover the store when needed.

Basic mathematical, reading and writing skillsAbility to perform repetitive work accuratelyStrict attention to detailStrong verbal communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. periodicallyMust be able to sit, stand, walk, and climb steps for extended lengths of timeAbility to enter and work in a cooler at a temperature of 32 degrees up to 15 minutes at a time, outside in inclement hot or cold weather.Ability to manage people while maintaining a positive environment.As well as other duties assigned by Management team.
