The OEM Engineering team is looking for a customer facing Intermediate/Senior Software Systems Developer to clearly articulate the overall value proposition of QNX technologies, applying them to various automotive challenges, which ultimately helps to ensure QNX remains a technology leader in the automotive industry. You will partner with OEM architecture teams, forward development organizations and production teams to facilitate and propagate end-to-end solutions (both PoC and planned production). In addition, the team runs the evaluation and potential integration of innovative technology solutions from strategic partners. This is a phenomenal opportunity to work with leading technology.

You will:Support customers using QNX key technologies in future designs and architecturesDevelop concepts supporting proof points and implement in partnership with the customersPartner with the internal sales teams to ensure they are aware of the latest in QNX technology to promote to our customersLead software architecture workshops with our OEM customersWork alongside team members to evaluate customer requirements and define solutionsDesign prototype solutions proposalsExecute on the development plans and strategies as they relate to customer initiativesParticipate in architecture and strategy sessions with our technology partnersProvide design input into future products and solutionsDeliver key advancements to the wider QNX software portfolioYou will have the following skills & experience:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent experienceProven experience with OS level software integration strategies (Linux and QNX experience would be an asset)Automotive platform architecture experience with a focus on softwareExperience with connected, embedded systems (Edge) in automotive designs as well as software performance analysis and performance improvement techniquesSkilled in C/C++ and python developmentExperience in CI/CD deployment strategy, integration of tooling into 3rd party pipelinesAbility to work and participate in a global environment with an open, collaborative communication style, both internally and with our customerExcellent communication, presentation, and organizational skillsEnthusiasm, a passion for quality and a desire to learn about new technologiesAbility to conduct business in English is a must, German is a plus
