MAU is hiring a Qualification Engineer for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Qualification Engineer, you will lead equipment qualifications, drive process improvements, and ensure quality standards while fostering collaboration and efficiency. This is a contract position with a duration of up to 18 months.
Benefits Package 401k matching Life insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Short term disability Long term disability Paid time off Shift Information Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering 2–3 years of experience in turbine engineering and/or manufacturing General Requirements Proven program management experience Strong team player with a collaborative mindset Proficient in lean manufacturing methodologies Experience working within matrix organizations Effective negotiation skills Ability to build trust and foster collaboration across teams and interfacing organizations Familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes Strong customer satisfaction focus with a commitment to quality Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with global team interactions Essential Functions Develop qualification standards in alignment with Global Supply Chain and Engineering requirements Manage timelines, scope, and execution for equipment procurement, installation, and qualification processes Attend and facilitate Kaizen events and roadmap sessions to support capacity ramp-up efforts Demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement Lead qualifications from inception to closure, including parts and special processes such as coatings and brazing Leverage design and manufacturing expertise to implement innovative ideas that enhance the qualification process, reduce costs, and add value Identify and execute qualification cost-saving opportunities Provide regional and, where applicable, global shop support Foster a positive working environment, promote team morale, and instill a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and speed
