About the Role


As a Civeo Chef, you will assist the kitchen team in bulk preparation and cooking for various meals and functions at the village during your swing. This DIDO position requires travel to our Villages in either Boggabri or Narrabri in Regional NSW, approximately 6 hours drive from Sydney. Permanent positions are available in each village for both Line Chef and Exec Chef.  

You will work 10.5-hour days on a 14:7 roster (2 weeks on, one week off), taking pride in providing excellent service to our guests. Our villages range from 500 to 600 people, and your passion and experience in bulk cooking will be highly valued.

About You 
 

To be successful, you will have:

A minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or validated equivalent) Experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens Competence in bulk/batch cooking across all service offerings Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team Flexibility to workday and/or night shifts as required Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including alcohol and drug screening A National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one Exceptional communication skills Excellent time management skills Remote work experience (highly regarded) Great team player with the ability to adapt and work well under pressure Current Driver’s License
