Quality Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesInspect and troubleshoot any defects or discrepancies in conformityAssist other QC Personnel, Operators, Assemblers, etc. when quality questions arisePerform inspections using measurement tooling (calipers, gauges, meters, etc.)Train other employeesInspect, examine, and observe for product or equipment defectsPerform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications for the roleHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing environment, assembly or casting preferredMinimum 1 year experience in qualityDesired experience in SAP and WindchillAbility to work with teams and deliver feedback to operators concerning identified issuesExperience using computers Microsoft office apps like excel, word and web applications.Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical drawings and modelsKnowledge in using tools, such as a screwdriver, crimper, and air gunGood written and oral communication skills. Ability and willingness to climb ladders, stand/walk for long periods of timeUnderstand and carry out oral and written instructionsWork along of as a member of a teamInitiative, teamwork, flexibility & attention to detailCandidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States
