Summary
Parkview Health is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Quality/Accreditation Specialist (QAS) to join our team in supporting and driving patient safety, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance initiatives across the health system. The QAS is an essential contributor to Parkview’s mission of delivering excellent care and advancing strategic organizational goals through quality and safety efforts.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead and support performance improvement and patient safety initiatives aligned with Parkview’s strategic goals.
+ Coordinate and facilitate activities related to regulatory and accreditation compliance.
+ Educate staff and promote best practices across the clinical setting to improve patient outcomes.
+ Analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and assist with implementing effective action plans.
+ Serve as a liaison with internal teams and external regulatory bodies.
+ Support and assist in survey readiness and follow-up actions for compliance with standards.
Required Qualifications
+ Education:
+ Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health, Business, Science, Biostatistics, or related field.
+ Master’s degree preferred.
+ Training in regulatory requirements and standards is essential.
+ Licensure/Certification:
+ Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or
+ Must obtain certification in an area of expertise within 2 years (e.g., CPHQ, RHIT, RHIA, HACP, or equivalent).
+ Experience:
+ 1–2 years of experience in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, risk management, infection control, or related areas.
+ Strong experience in clinical environments is preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with databases/spreadsheets preferred.
+ Experience in public speaking and presentation delivery.

+ Demonstrated ability to analyze data and apply statistical tools for improvement initiatives.
