Location: Montreal, Canada

Duration: Minimum 6 months

Frequency: Full-time 

 

Responsibilities:

Lead, assess & investigate supplier quality issuesInvoke & Perform source inspectionLead & participate to quality reviews & governances with 2nd level of management (Directors)Plan & Perform FAI reviewPerform data analysis & generate KPI on supplier’s quality performanceLead, plan & execute high complex & cross-functional projects & initiativesDefine Corrective action & improvement plan with the suppliersReview & approve quality forms (ex: dropship)Manage RNC / VRNC Q & tasks that required MRB approvalProvide technical support & coaching to the team members & stakeholdersLead & manage DMM during absence of the leaderParticipate to executive meeting & PMR with suppliersCoaching & training suppliers on our quality toolsDirector’s delegate on quality & Director’s meetingsAct as a mentor & participate to define the strategic plans of the department

 

Requirements:

Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102)Have a working knowledge of CMM inspection; interpret inspection report data as it relates to manufacturing requirementsPossess general knowledge of Aerospace Quality Systems and International StandardsSAPMust be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures with regards to inspection including proficiency in the use of CMM, comparator, micrometers, thread gauges and calipersThe ability to read blue prints, check dimensional properties of parts or raw material to ensure compliance to manufacturing drawings/blueprints and psecificationsKnowledge of Discus preferredKnowledge of Net InspectMust be proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite products.  A certain degree of creativity and flexibility in requiredKnowledge of GD&T requiredMinimum of 7 or more years of experience in aerospacePropose innovative solutions.Identify improvment opportunities, team efficiency, capability among the team & other stakeholders.Elaborate optimum solution for complex issues & manage the deployment of the solution.Elaborate & recommend a strategy on how the decision shall be communicate.Perform a risk analysis for complex solutions.Expert (role model) that can work with no supervision.Provide coaching & training to the team members.
