LHS has 613 licensed beds. POSITION SUMMARY The Quality Analyst I performs quality process improvement activities for assigned department to include but is not limited to developing and maintaining statistical databases, developing and producing complex reports and assisting with various projects. Assists with developing evaluative tools to improve process improvements. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Responsibilities Supports users across the organization pertaining to quality management by providing reports and providing system support and training. Collects statistics and clinical information for established projects and verifies accuracy. Enters data for assigned projects and ensures accuracy and completed in a timely manner. Participates, maintains and implements organizational policies and procedures. Attends and participates in departmental and/or professional meetings. Serves as departmental liaison. Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested. Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge. Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”. Qualifications Education and Experience: Minimum: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Desired: Associate’s Degree Minimum: Zero (0) years of direct experience with an Associate’s Degree or Two (2) years of direct experience without an Associate’s degree. Desired: 2 years of experience with an Associate’s Degree Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to functions independently and manage a variety of projects Ability to analyze and interpret data Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency and compiling moderately complex reports Ability to communicate effectively Advanced computer skills
