As a QFS Manager, you will be responsible for leading our quality assurance and food safety program at our facility. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, corporate personnel, and manufacturing staff to ensure that our products are safe and of the highest quality.
What You'll Do: Manage the Quality and Food Safety function at the facility Serve as SQF Practitioner and site FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual Verify and validate Food Safety Pre-requisite programs Manage the plant Food Safety Plan and associated policies and procedures Be a key member of the Food Safety Team Monitor, support, and enforce all food safety processes and procedures Participate in weekly Food Safety Inspections Investigate and respond to customer complaints Manage quality data collection, process measurements, process analysis, and reporting Ensure a safe work environment and enforce safety and sanitation rules What You'll Need: Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, chemistry, engineering, or related field Three (3) years of experience in a quality assurance leadership role within a food manufacturing facility HACCP Certification Certified Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) Preferably SQF Practitioner Certification What You'll Bring: Knowledge of Food Safety standards (FDA, FMSA, HACCP principles, GMPs, SOPs, and more) Experience with AIB, SQF, or similar food industry production audits Strong leadership and communication skillsJoin us and help make a difference in food safety and quality.
