Quality and Improvement Engineer – ET&S

An exciting opportunity is available for forward thinking Quality Engineers to join the ET&S (Engineering, Technology and Safety) Engineering Quality Team. The successful applicants will work across the global engineering function covering all divisions and all aspects of managing quality escapes, problem resolution, Process Deviation Plans and giving guidance on quality compliance to ET&S.

Key Accountabilities:
Quality governance in ET&S ensuring connectivity and consistency with the divisional and functional governance activity. Whilst principally aligned to a specific Capability Group with ET&S flexibility to work across the whole function will be required.Management of Quality Data ensuring accuracy of reporting to ET&S Global Capability Directors and representation of Engineering Quality at the QSABs (Quality and Safety Assurance Boards)Programme management and coaching of engineers for problem resolution via MQIs, QNs PDPs across Group Engineering including direct ownership of issues where appropriate.Facilitation in the close out of Quality Audit findings as they arise in ET&SBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline 1+ years of experience, ORMaster’s degree in a relevant engineering, ORJD/PhD ORIn order to be considered for this role, must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent ResidentPreferred Qualifications:
Experience of working in across Engineering disciplines and processes with knowledge of the RRMSThe ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organisation up to senior management level. This must include the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on other sites and time zones.Ability to lead and influence globally diverse teams8D Problem Solving skillsPioneer the next generation of innovation. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement.
