We currently have an opportunity for a Quality & Zero Harm Advisor to join our team. Working closely with the Facilities Director, you will provide Quality & Zero Harm support to a defined portfolio consisting of our Sydney International Convention Centre Contract (Sydney NSW) within the Social Infrastructure & Citizen Services line of business.

What you’ll do

The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

Provide expert health, safety and management system guidance and practical support to management and staff. Facilitate development of a Downer Standard culture within the team that is focused on manager-led delivery of positive outcomes. Support delivery and implementation of the Zero Harm Strategy and ensure performance objectives / outcomes are achieved within agreed timeframes. Facilitate implementation of the Downer management system to existing operational contexts and new business opportunities. Provide expert advice, guidance and support to management and staff of the ICC contract, including service delivery partners. Designated Zero Harm lead and INX Moderator for allocated portfolio as required. Participate in projects to support achievement of contract outcomes as requested by the Facilities Director. Facilitate professional and timely investigation of incidents within business.

What you’ll bring

Formal qualifications in Quality Management Formal work health and safety qualifications Practical experience within a related role Understanding of management systems and processes and equivalent standards Strong skills / experience in conduct of risk assessments and verification of site safety management plans Conduct of management system and/or environmental management system audits, within the past 2 years
